The one with the Corn Festival

Today Daddy and I had massages and they felt GOOOOD, then we headed out to the corn maze for the corn festival, it wasnt much of a corn festival but the corn was delicious!!!

The one with the Baby Bjorn

Today we did lots of odds and ends, car registrations, carters, carters shawnessy, target, michaels, michaels deerfoot, home, walk to meet daddy.  So I put you in the baby bojrn most of the day and you really seemed to like, it although your not exactly light any more so we will see how long we can keep using it.

The one with giggles with Daddy

Today we went on a long walk we had to get our 100km in this month so we did 12km.

Once daddy got home we went up to the bed to take photos, but this just ended up with you and daddy having a lot of giggle time!!

The one with class and heritage park

Today we had a busy day you slept in and i had to wake you to go to our last baby in your back yard class, we were late so we stayed a little after and spoke with Miss Jennifer.  We adore her and she adores you, everyone was shocked at you climbing up and standing and letting go.  No one said it but im pretty sure they were impressed with my reactions and the fact that i caught you!

Then we went to Heritage park with Evan, Darius, Myla, Arden and Izzy.  you guys had a blast and we went on the boat and walked around.

The one with the Stairs

Today we headed up to see Shannon and Ros, you had a good time and were well behaved, Shannon couldnt believe how you were pulling yourself up and walking along things :)

Then when we got home you discovered the stairs, I let you climb up them and you had a little slip down but you didnt hurt yourself, hopefully you learned your lesson and wont go back to them.

The one with the Frozen Yogurt

Today we headed out to the dollar store to pick up felt for your lap books and daddy suggested we get some frozen yogurt.  From your face im guessing you didnt like it but we liked the new place in McKenzie towne you pick your yogurt, then your toppings so you can have whatever you want, daddy and i enjoyed it :).

The one with the Highland Games

Today we went to the Highland Games with Dave and Noreen and to be honest we weren't impressed.  To be honest there was just a lack of organisation and competitors.  They came for dinner and we had fun and im super happy to see you in your kilt

The one with the Spices

Today we headed out to get all the shopping for dinner tomorrow night which meant a trip to the spice shop, the lady there was fair taken with you!

Today you tried tuna for the first time i just flaked it up on your tray and let you go at it, you were doing well so i added in some cheese slice to give you a tuna melt ;)

The one with the Water Park

Today we visited the Glenmore Water Park with your buddies then went a walk around the reservoir.

The one with the Elgin Ruins

Today we had baby in your backyard we found out you share a birthday with Miss Jennifer :)

We walked down and home then just chilled out in the afternoon

when daddy got home we cycled down to Famossa for Pizza then to the Elgin ruins to take some pictures, i was pretty chuffed i managed to cycle to the top of the hill and daddy managed to do it towing you!

then we went to the park and cycled home :)

The one with the visit to work

Today you read some magazines (well ripped them up) then we went into mammys work.  Everyone makes such a big deal of you they all think you are adorable!!

Then we had mucho buretto for lunch whilst you slept ... thank you

Then out with Hamish for a walk, im so glad we have all these ponds around us for walking Hamish they are so pretty :)

The one with the long walk

We walked up to Walmart today and just chilled you found it so funny when you were eating your feet and I was saying phew!

The one where we moved your bed

Today we had a chilled out day at home, you played mega blocks with Daddy and chilled with Hamish, i love that you two are becoming friends, i hope you will both love each other.  Daddy even built you a chair to sit on, thrown i believe he called it :)

We also moved your bed to your own room, im not sure how much sleep i will get tonight.

The one with the big Corn Maze

Today we went back to the corn maze again (yes I know its the third time but we want to get the most our of our season passes) Daddy took you in the carrier and we did the big maze, we got a little lost at the north east corner and walked around a bit but we got there in the end!

The one with the car seat hood

This morning we went for our walk with Erin and Darius.  Then we headed over to walmart, on the way back I heard this clicking crunching noise I freaked out I thought you were getting our of your carseat or it was broken or something.  At the lights I turned around and you had pulled the hood down and were chewing on it.  What a boy x

The one with the Playdate

We had a crazy day today you got up early thankfully at 6.45, by 11am we had

given you a bottle
fed you breakfast
tried to get you to nap
gone to walmart
got you to nap (for a whole 30 mins)
washed the skirting boards
washed the windows
hoovered
steamed the floor
washed the bottles
had a wipeout on the living room floor
had a shower
got you dressed for the day

Then we got ready for our guests and had another bottle before Darius, Myla and Evan came to visit

Then you babies went crazy playing together i love to see you platy together like that!!!!

The one where Daddy took the afternoon off

Today we had baby in your backyard in the morning with Miss Jennifer, you were off with Erin and Elizabeth and pretty much ignoring me!  You and Darius are so cute together.  Then we went to pick up daddy he had the afternoon off. We went to the Ralf Klien building and had a look around but some of the paths were closed so we decided to use our Corn Maze Pass again and we got our round of golf in before you woke up, again your Daddy beat your Mammy!

Then home for Daddy to cut the grass and jet wash the house.  It was a fun family day :)  LOVE afternoons like this make me so happy.

The one where I woke to you standing in your crib

In the mornings I try to leave you as long as possible so you get a good nights sleep, so sometimes when you are moving around I just ignore you until I know you are awake, normally you put on your aquarium and thats how I know.  However, today i looked over and you were standing in your crib chewing the cross bar.

Today was a low key day we just chilled at home and went for a couple of walks.  

You did have a moment with Hamish where he tolerated you petting him and you LOVE to pet him, hopefully if we keep working on it you two will be friends!

The one where you turned 8 Months

8 Months im really not sure how the time has gone past so quickly, its crazy seeing Drew next door, its so hard to believe you were ever that tiny and you were even smaller than him.

Your monthly photos are all but impossible for one person there are more and more outtakes with each month that goes by.  

So here you are at 8 months ...

are 73.5cm tall

started to comando crawl on July 16th

did your first hike up Grassie Lakes

pulled yourself from sitting to standing against the sofa August 1st

waved at a boy in Montanas whilst we were having dinner (Aug 1st)

started to feed yourself stars

graduated baby sign class

started baby in my backyard and you and Darius were all over the place

are sleeping 9.5-11 hours a night (although naps have been iffy this month)

We still call you Noah Pie, Munchkin, Bug, Bugaboo, Monster

The old one with the Corn Maze

On August 4th we took you to the Corn Maze, we made it round the little maze but about half way through you were asleep so it was down to Daddy and I to get back out!  Then whilst you slept Daddy managed to beat mammy at mini golf! (seriously what is the world coming to?).  Then we just walked around and went to the petting zoo, it was a fantastic day out with my boys.

The one with the Height and Weight

Today we went and got your height and weight measurements for 8 months (yes I know im two days late but the clinic isnt open on a Saturday).  You are now 73.5cm tall and weigh 18.76lbs!  Which puts you in the 82nd percentile for height and 28th percentile for weight, still tall and skinny :).  I knew you had grown this month you just seemed to be so tall but i still got a shock when i found out you grew 4cm!

After the clinic we had a boring day we went to Target and all you got were socks and a discount CD, then home for lunch.  You will pretty much not take your bottle at noon now, you took 50mls today but then you wolf down your food.  I was a little worried about you not eating enough but you put on about a lb last month so im thinking we are good, ill just keep letting you guide me!

After lunch we had a walk around 130th getting stuff for dinner!  When we got home i got you down for a nap which you really needed but as always decided to fight.

I had to take your mobile off your crib I caught you standing trying to use the elephant to keep your balance, my life is never going to be the same it's going to be full of mischief and adventuring and I couldn't be happier.

The one with the Rock Garden

I know I know I sound like every other mother out ther but seriously where has the time gone I honestly can't believe you are 8 months old already. They have been the fastest, most amazing, most rewarding, most fantastic, most hectic and most sleepless 8 months of my life.

 We took you to Reader Rock Gardens today and it was beautiful. We has the stroller so we couldn't really go round all the garden but we managed to get some photos. We put you down to crawl and you HATED the feel of the grass on your legs and hands. Daddy tried to show you it was ok to crawl but you still weren't convinced.

Your top right tooth broke the skin fully today and your teeth are sore, you also seem to be catching the cold you gave me and you are miserable my heart aches to hear you sob in your sleep beside me, I wish I could take away all the pain and discomfort.
